As a Butler Intern, you will be trained to deliver a complete guest experience from arrival to departure. You will learn from the very best in the industry how to serve food in the intimate setting of a suite, handle laundry, prepare baths, coordinate reservations, and much more.

As a Butler Intern, you will be part of the excellent team at Hotel TwentySeven, fully focused on personalized service and exceeding every guest’s expectations. What makes this role truly unique is that you act as the main point of contact within the hotel and are the key factor in ensuring our guests lack nothing—always under the direct supervision of your assigned mentor.

In short, this is what you will learn:

• Welcoming guests warmly and escorting them to their assigned suite;

• Coordinating with all relevant departments to fulfill guest wishes and needs;

• Delivering drinks and dishes from the room service menu to the suite;

• Serving guests in a calm, discreet, and courteous manner;

• Maintaining regular contact with guests and assisting with their daily planning if desired;

• Creating detailed guest profiles, documenting all preferences;

• Presenting and organizing hotel facilities and services;

• Multitasking while maintaining a clear overview;

• Analyzing guest feedback and handling it efficiently.

Here's where you'll recognize yourself:

• A motivated third- or fourth-year MBO or HBO student in Hospitality or a Butler Academy program;

• Available at least 4–5 days per week for a minimum of 4 months;

• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English;

• Experience in guest-facing roles is a plus;

• A true team player who enjoys working with a variety of colleagues;

• You gain energy from assisting and supporting guests and colleagues;

• Affinity with and understanding of a 5-star hospitality environment;

• Knowledge of Amsterdam is a plus;

• A motivated and disciplined attitude, with a willingness to learn and embrace new challenges.

What we offer:

• An internship allowance of €500 gross (MBO students) or €600 gross (HBO students), based on 38 hours and depending on education level and year;
